Goldendoodle Morning Routine
Every morning we wake up, let our goldendoodle named Duke outside to go to the bathroom, feed him one cup of his favorite food, and then we move the little toggle over in my personal favorite and life changing tool of a beautiful invention which is the Daily Feeding Chart for pet owners.
This has been truly life changing for our family, as we used to have to ask if the dog has been fed. Now we know! Because we keep this stuck on to the top of our stainless steel dog food kitchen drawer. (That’s another life changing invention, the kitchen drawer which holds dog food!)

Nordstrom Find That Sparks Joy
We just recently purchased this Solo Stove S’more tabletop stove and we really love it! Or at least I do. It’s so fun! It sits on your tabletop and you can roast s’mores.

How I Simplify Mom Life with Amazon
One thing I decided to do this year was buy toilet paper, paper towels and other necessary or mildly necessary items in bulk and have them delivered via Amazon.
I’m very thankful to have a utility closet with a little bit of space as it’s so helpful not to have to run to this store each time you run out of toilet paper.

I’ve been stocking up! I had heard people talk about how we should try and have some water stored and I just hadn’t done it yet. It feels good to know we have at least enough to flush the toilets for awhile if the power went out. Also we have some bottled water to drink in that same instance. Not saying that’s going to happen, but it gives me peace of mind knowing I’m slightly more prepared.

Gardening for Relaxation
We created this little stepping path and planted some dahlias! Cafe au lait variety is one of my favorites. In this picture they haven’t quite grown all the way.. they grew even bigger and more luscious and beautiful. What is not to love!

My Favorite Books for Simple Living
Reading feels rare to me these days, though I do enjoy a good audio book from Audible!
One book I really do love is called From Seed To Bloom. It is the most beautiful coffee table book and I highly recommend it (not pictured here.)
