Last year I lost all the photos I had of my sweet Andrew from age 0-5, today I found on an iPad 87,000 pictures that were taking up so much storage that we couldn’t download games for an upcoming trip. I don’t know where they came from, if they were always there, or what but I am very thankful! To the woman who gave my son life; from your womb he was born a gorgeous and handsome young boy. I don’t know you and yet I love you, every day I love you. With every fiber of my being I love you. Your son is a treasure, he is such joy and love and light. He is a world changer and I tell you that daily being trained up, age five in this picture and nine now. Where has the time gone? My sweet boy, your sweet boy, he is joy and delight. You, birthmother, are a gift and joy. When I look at him I see you. Your curly eyelashes, your delightful laugh, your gorgeous black skin and soft brown eyes and warm welcoming smile. I imagine all these things and more. Thank you Jesus for this gift I have to raise this extraordinary young man on this earth and thank you birthmother for everything. All that I know and all that I do not know. I pray for you. She’s so beautiful, Nana @kateannjohnson . Photo taken by Annabel through the window into Nana’s room where she sits and prays for people all day. She’s a delight, and she’s really something. The unknown earthly hero but fully known and fully loved and celebrated in the kingdom of God where she’s got a humongous flower bouquet, where people who she’s prayed for from the nations of the world one by one walk and hand her a flower from that nation to fill her over-flowing bursting with vibrancy and color and most gorgeous picture of a flower bouquet you could ever see. Out of gratitude they come and give her a flower and she’s just beaming at this beautiful bouquet. She’s just so sweet that Nana Kate, it’s been a delight to live with her for this unknown duration of time season. Thanks Mom, you’re a delight. You are celebrated. And you are loved. Thanks for all the prayers, all the years. And for mentoring us moms bi-weekly with @christinemariegregory , thanks for watching the kids while I bring one to therapy, thanks for being the best nana ever folding their laundry and completing math, spelling and bible assignments while we travel on mission trips through the years. Not just completing but they have better grades when we get back. Amazing!You are a true hero! The unsung hero! You are a delight, you just do your thing and you do it well! You allow God to work through you, speak through you, calling out destinies, calling out what’s not as if it were, encouraging those around you with prophetic words and healing prayers. In the scheme of mothers, there is no better mother out there. Except perhaps Mary the mother of Jesus, but no I think no, just you. You’re it lady! New seasons upon us both! Only good! Only heaven-sent and filled with purpose. Healing, prayer, worship, destiny. Love you. Happy to know you and be known by you. Who has a prayer request they want us to pray over?
