An Afternoon at the Dog Park

About a week ago we had the opportunity to discover a whole new world we didn't know existed. The world of dog parks. We are told that dog parks are a great way to introduce our puppy to other dogs and so she can learn how to behave around other dogs. The very large dog in one of these pics became her friend and they played together at the park. Andrew thought it was a kick as well. I love these moments outside, soaking in the time together as a family with our new pup. Our time there was relatively short but oh-so-sweet.

Random Thoughts:

I don't usually share this many photos from one session (yes I usually take this many or more) but felt like it today.

I am so thankful for the freedom we have in this country and was reminded of this freedom and the soldiers fighting for it as we played at the dog park. Thank you to all of you who make this possible.

Did you catch the picture of my little guy bringing me a flower? I wonder if his daddy told him to do that or not. At the time I thought he thought of it on his own. Whatever the reason, it made me smile because he was running it to me with so much joy in his eyes.

So thankful for family, and with Father's Day coming up on Sunday - Dads. Gotta love 'em.
