1. Mixed Metals
Brass lights, stainless steel appliances, brushed nickel faucet, oil-rubbed bronze barn door track, aged brass lighting each side of vent hood, brass pulls and knobs. All are like artwork and jewelry to a room and they are working in this kitchen! LOVE.
2. White Woodwork as Art
This hallways remains one of my favorite spaces to date. So funny that a hallway could make your heart skip a beat, but truly this one does! What I am loving when I disect this space is everything is so simple and beautiful and peaceful and lovely white still being interesting, arty, complete and finished! The beauty is in the architectural detail of the woodwork! Love. Shiplap walls, trim, thick casing above the doors, crown moulding, tongue and groove beadboard ceiling, that fabulous door, and the small accent of the oil-rubbed bronze door knobs and hardware on the door. LOVE.
3. Wall-Mount Faucets
What is not to love.
4. Belgian Linen
Just give me some linen, some more linen and then some more linen. Talk about beauty, white shiplap walls and linen. Pretty much all you need in life for simple beauty home perfection.
5. Cute Switchplates
I keep coming back to this little powder bathroom design and when I take a look at the details I keep coming back to that adorable little bathroom light switch! I've seen these on off switch plate old school style lights for sale at Restoration Hardware in various finishes. I love the brushed nickel plates as well with just the normal style but updated from standard. Attention to the details! Love these simple details.
It is fun looking at different rooms and spaces and figuring what you like about them. One of my favorite things to do is go on pinterest, houzz, or even instagram and type in the search for a certain look I'm going for - and keep on searching until I find a room that is exactly pleasing to my eye and what I'm going for! Might not be the easiest way or most time efficient but sure is fun! :)
Much love to you lovely readers, may your evening be blessed and beautiful and anointed and God-given and God-breathed!
